Community Service activities have been carried out by the Community Service Team of Diponegoro University's Department of Environmental Engineering in The Village of Sambung RW 01 Rowosari Village in Tembalang Sub-District in September. This activity is in the form of providing means of prevention of covid-19 transmission, such as hand washing, soap, as well as pamphlets and mmt as a means of socializing the implementation of health protocols during pandemics. In addition, a total of 5 pairs of organic and inorganic trash cans along with modules containing methods of processing household waste are also provided as educational facilities for the local community.
Socialization is done by visiting people's homes one by one, socialization is attended by approximately 20 families. Mr. Chairman of RW 01 Dusun Sambung, Rowosari Village in his speech thanked the Community Service Team from the Department of Environmental Engineering. Mr. RW 01 also invites the residents of Sambung Hamlet as well as members of the community who are present to always manage the garbage produced and invite the community to maintain cleanliness to prevent the spread of covid-19 chain. In his speech, Mr. Khuldori (Chairman of RW 01) also expressed his gratitude to the Community Service Team of the UNDIP Department of Environmental Engineering who has chosen Dusun Sambung RW 01 as a partner in community service activities, he also hopes this cooperation continues for the future. The Head of Community Service Team from UNDIP Department of Environmental Engineering in his speech also thanked Mr. Chairman of RW 01 Dusun Sambung. Hope from the Community Service Team from UNDIP's Department of Environmental Engineering so that the community has a high awareness to prevent the spread of Covid-19 transmission and manage the waste produced to reduce waste from sources.
