Description:
The Environmental Engineering Study Program was established on October 21, 1998, and is committed to organizing educational and teaching activities in order to produce graduates with excellent abilities to apply basic sciences and environmental engineering expertise to identify, formulate and solve environmental problems based on an understanding of impact of laws and policies on the environment by considering economic, social, political, ethical, safety and health, and environmental sustainability aspects. In addition, the Environmental Engineering Study Program is also committed to increasing the competence of Human Resources who are aware and capable of lifelong learning to increase the quantity and quality of research and publications so that they are able to innovate in the field of environmental engineering and management. This commitment is accomplished by undertaking education and teaching based on a curriculum which consists of 144 credits which can be completed within 4 years. This curriculum was formulated by the drafting team and discussed in the study program evaluation meeting which was attended by all UNDIP Environmental Engineering lecturers. The process of formulation and preparation begins with a number of preliminary activities, namely evaluations from tracer alumni and alumni users (stakeholders). The results of this evaluation greatly influenced the results of the formulation of the UNDIP Environmental Engineering Study Program curriculum.
