Semarang (30/6) – Department of Environmental Engineering, Diponegoro University. The eco-innovation activity initiated by the Ministry of Environment and Forestry is in accordance with the RPJMN mission which emphasizes efforts to improve the management of development implementation that can maintain a balance between utilizing natural resources and maintaining the function and carrying capacity of the environment through harmonious spatial planning for settlements, socio-economic, and other efforts conservation.

In addition, this eco-innovation activity is also very much in line with and supports the efforts to achieve the SDGs, which is a global action plan agreed by world leaders to end poverty, reduce inequality and protect the environment through 17 goals and 169 SDGs targets whose results are increasing from year to year. This was stated by Lecturer of the Environmental Engineering Department and PROPER observer by Mr. Ir. Winardi Dwi Nugraha, M.Si. which is contained in the PROPER e-book “Inovasi Sosial untuk Indonesia Maju” published by the Ministry of Environment and Forestry of the Republic of Indonesia in 2022.
