The Department of Environmental Engineering together with his staff leaders of Engineering Faculty of University Diponegoro implementing activities assessmen along with assessor the Komite Akreditasi Nasional (KAN) the Mrs Siti Rohmah and Mrs Dea Winiarti. The event was held in two days on 5 and 6 October 2021.
Assessmen activities conducted online, although not discourages online in providing accredited laboratory ISO/IEC 17025:2017. The result of assessmen is indicated that laboratory tests the Faculty of Engineering University Diponegoro especially in Environmental Engineering Laboratory has been applying the requirements set out on ISO/IEC 17025:2017, will but also needs improvement of a few related nonconformity found at the time assessmen.
It is important to note that laboratory accreditation based ISO/IEC 17025:2017 constituting a standard used by laboratories in fulfilling common requirement for competence laboratory tests and calibration. The two main that must be fulfilled by the laboratory on the standard ISO/IEC 17025:2017 namely the requirements management and technical requirements. Management requirements relating to the operation and effectiveness of quality management system in a laboratory.
Then technical requirements covering factors that establish the truth and dependability testing and calibration done in the laboratory. With procures accreditation the laboratory by Komite Akreditasi Nasional, Laboratory Tests of Engineering Faculty University Laboratory Diponegoro especially Environmental Engineering recognition of data tests valid internationally, and increase the qualities consistence manajamen quality system laboratory.
