Semarang─ Successful in organizing the first INCRID in 2019, Environmental Engineering Diponegoro University again held The 2nd International Conference on Environment, Sustainability Issues, and Community Development (INCRID) on (21/10). Channeled online through youtube channel Undip TV given the un ending pandemic conditions.

With the theme “Recent Updates and Challenges on Environmental Technology, Sciences, Education, and Innovations” which raises all factors related to environmental technology, science, education and innovation to achieve the desired sustainable development goals. This is in line with the 4th SDGs on Quality Education, the 6th SDGs on Clean Water and Proper Sanitation, the 14th SDGs on Ocean Ecosystems and the 15th SDGs on Land Ecosystems.

The conference covers all research and development in the field of environmental engineering and science related to sustainable development. Based on information from the chairman of the student committee, Matthew Darmawan, there are about 110 participants. Selected papers will be published in the IOP conference proceedings indexed by Scopus, and several leading national journals, namely Jurnal Ilmu Lingkungan (Indexed in Sinta 2) and Jurnal Precipitation (Indexed in Sinta 3).

In this virtual conference there are also keynote speakers from various countries. The first keynote speaker was Prof. Dr. IR. Ambariyanto, M.Sc. who is vice rector of research and innovation at Diponegoro University.
